Many producer ask the same question...how can I make more sales?

That answer is based around one thing

How much value do you provide?

Sometimes, it's not about what you have but how you put it out there

You can have the best beats, sound kits, presets, strategies, ect but you have to think about how to put it in the faces of many people on a daily basis

Here are 5 tips that can help you grow as a producer over time ⬇️

1. Marketing

The use of this skill is mainly about how well you can relate to the audience you're trying to capture. Think about the problems the majority of individuals in your field experience. Come up with solutions on how you can help solve them. The more you provide value, the more you'll be sought after.

2. GFX & VFX

Learning graphic design and video editing is something that's just as valuable as making beats. Being able to visually represent yourself in a creative and unique way will help attract your own audience. These skills are especially useful for creating sound kits. What are some characteristics that make you want to buy a sound kit? The way it's packaged? The cover art, the preview of the kit, the sounds inside? Create products that have high quality, original, and professional cover art with graphics. This will also help social media algorithms push your brand to a higher level.

3. Website Design

Every business needs a website no matter what kind of profession you're in. Your website is like the home of your business. Choosing the right website provider, domain name, and theme for your store all matter when creating your site. Choose something that's modern and easy to use. As creatives, we can sometimes tend to go overboard on design so remember to keep it simple. It's about being appealing to your website visitors so they come back. Make sure your website is a site you would visit regularly.

4. Networking

This one has similarities to marketing but are quite different. When you network, you're reaching out to people on the same level or a higher level than you in order to get your products out there. It's also about building genuine relationships without necessarily expecting anything in return right away. You can even offer to pay for their services or products to really get your foot in the door. This shows that you're serious about working and that you have a set of skills that could help them in the future.

5. Time Management

Planning your day is helpful even though things don't go 100% as planned every day. But still, it's your job to make sure you get up daily and work on your music business. You must eliminate all distractions to the best of your ability. If it's not helping you grow, analyze the situation and remove yourself from it. Working around the clock can be beneficial but you must avoid burn out. It's ok to take breaks and do other life things but be mindful of how much time you spend doing things that aren't helping your business. Being able to execute your goals on a daily basis will not only propel your business but improve your mindset to attract more sales.
